About Christopher Cooper

Christopher Cooper's accomplishments are numerous and exemplary. He is a graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a 1995 graduate of New England School of Law, Boston. He completed his Ph.D. in Sociological Jurisprudence at American University in Washington D.C. in 1994, and was a Post Doctoral Fulbright scholar twice: first at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark; and second, at the University of Akureyri, Iceland. He is the author of books and more than 5 dozen articles, many of them in refereed journals regarding Sociological Jurisprudence; the 4th Amendment; Police Work; and Mediation.

Christopher Cooper is a proud New York City native and single father. Additionally, Christopher Cooper was a first responder at the World Trade Center starting September 12, 2001 (Tower 2 and the morgue). He is also a former United States Marine Sergeant (2nd Recon Battalion and 2nd Marines Infantry), Iraq War Veteran and Washington D.C. (MPD) Policeman.
